As a Support Worker in our High Support Accommodation Service you will work in a psychologically and trauma informed way, be values led and looking to grow both personally and professionally.

**The Role**
- The aim of a Support Worker is to deliver person-centred support to clients who are on a journey to recovery and who live in our High Support Accommodation. Working in a psychologically, adversity and trauma informed way, this includes:

- Holding a caseload of clients who you meet 1:1 at least weekly
- Developing and facilitating groups and activities for clients
- Developing support plans and working creatively with clients to support them to meet their goals
- Maintaining detailed case notes
- Helping clients to develop skills to move towards independent living
- Helping clients to maximise their income
- Championing hope and courage
- Responding to incidents and ensuring dligigent reporting
- Promoting the safety and wellbeing of clients

**About our Accommodation-based services**
- Second Step provides a variety of accommodation-based services as part of the Bristol City Council commissioned Pathways, as well as multiple other housing related services. Currently accommodation-based services are located in Bristol, however, Second Step has services throughout the South West.
