Our client has a permanent, full-time vacancy for a Company Secretarial Executive.

The role:
You will be reporting in to the head of the company secretarial team to:
1. Confidently and accurately prepare legal documents to assist with transactional support for the corporate team.

2. Confidently review statutory filings and/or historical statutory registers to accurately report on the same.

3. Undertaking ad hoc project work.

4. Confidently maintain and update entities using Blueprint Oneworld software.

5. Create and maintain good working relationships with key clients and contacts.

6. Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the Companies Act and monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulations and report the same to the team.

7. Assisting with the business development and marketing of the company secretarial team and the services offered by the team and the firm as a whole.

8. Accurately assist with statutory compliance/corporate filings for over 550 companies, and, where appropriate, delegate to junior members of the team.

9. Provide support and training to the junior members of the team.

10. Negotiating fee quotes with clients.

11. Preparation of engagement letters and confirmation of instructions following the firm’s internal procedures;
12. Preparation of proforma invoices and payment management.

13. Accurately undertake incorporation of UK entities.

**Requirements**:
Previous experience of working within a law firm offering professional company secretarial services to clients.

Experience of attending board and committee meetings and note taking.

In addition:

- ICSA Qualified (part qualified considered if at the end of your studies)
- An in-depth operational understanding of Blueprint
- Sound knowledge of the Companies Act 2006
- Sound corporate legal knowledge, drafting skills and experience with a recognised Corporate practice
- Commercial, practical and financial awareness
- Confidence and ability to communicate at senior levels
- Excellent academics and strong ambition for career development
- Excellent interpersonal and marketing skills with the ability to develop contacts for the team and the firm
- Team player able to fit into a friendly, busy team.
- Negotiation skills
- Organisational skills

You should be confident, flexible, have experience of managing your own workload and can work well in a team.
