About the role
As a result of recent changes to the service, Cambridgeshire County Council is looking to appoint two Commissioning Officers on a 12 month Fixed Term basis to it's Adult Commissioning Team.

The posts will be based in our offices at Alconbury/Huntingdon and we offer hybrid working, supported by flexible and agile working practices. Some travel will be required across the county.

What will you be doing?
- Support Commissioners and/or Contract Managers to deliver efficient and effective operation of the People and Communities commissioning function with a specialism in Adult Social Care, ensuring delivery of strategic priorities and commissioning intentions.
- Support the development and implementation of commissioning plans and strategies across the commissioning cycle.
- Support market management and the ongoing development of service provision and quality through facilitating effective collaboration and joint working throughout the procurement process, including service user and stakeholder engagement events.

- Ability to build effective working relationships with a range of partners and stakeholders
- Ability to present information clearly and concisely to a range of people.
- Ability to problem solve on a wide range of issues
- Understanding of the pressures and opportunities facing local authorities and the adult social care market in Cambridgeshire.
