About the role
The Resource Officer role is an important position at the heart of the high-quality care and service we provide at Cambridgeshire County Council’s Children’s Access to Resources Team.

You will be part of a highly motivated team, working closely with a range of care professionals, making sure we always deliver the best outcomes for our Children and Young People in our region.

What will you be doing?
You will be negotiating and working hard in partnership with all stakeholders to deliver high quality services for children and young people; improving their outcomes and achieving best value.

Attention to detail is essential in this role along with the ability to complete accurate and detailed records.

This is a hybrid working role, working from a Huntingdon office base and from home. You may be expected to work from the office on 3 days a week.

About you
To be considered for this exciting role you will need:

- to be an excellent communicator both spoken and written.
- to have strong customer focus.
- to have effective negotiation skills.
- to have excellent organisational skills.
- to work well under pressure.
- to be experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- to have a willingness to learn and progress with a can-do attitude.
- to have the ability to develop and maintain knowledge of different service provisions to meet the needs of looked after children, care leavers and vulnerable young adults.
