This is an exciting role for a full time program assistant for the School of Science Engineering and Environment at the University of Salford. The role is to primarily assist the Apprenticeship Administrator to ensure all activities and tasks underpinning program administration processes are appropriately implemented and managed in line with University processes.

**Duties**:

- The post holder will also assist across the school office team by providing a front-line service to students and colleagues for all aspects of programme administration.
- Monitoring student attendance, creating and maintaining data sets within the school office,
- Providing advice on quality standards.
- Attending and contributing to meetings and updating data in the virtual learning environment (Blackboard).

- Excellent IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office and CRMs to a high standard.
- Proven ability to work constructively as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Ability to work under pressure, with excellent organizational and time management.

- Flexible and accommodating attitude to timekeeping.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience of providing comprehensive customer service and administrative support in a busy office environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present oral and written information clearly.

**Salary**: £12.86 per hour

Expected hours: 36.25 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Salford (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Salford: Relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: In person
