**YOUR ROLE **:As a Revenue Care Specialist you will be part of a team within the Revenue Care Centre (RCC) responsible for overseeing the correct and appropriate revenue and cost input activities associated with our customers transactions. As a Specialist you will be responsible for executing pre-invoice file audits to ensure proper cost entry and invoice entry fields are completed, and as a subsequent activity will generate invoice documentation to our customers. The RCC team also works closely with our Customer Care Specialists, ensuring customer credit information and customer quotations are up to date.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage related cost entry and revenue entry tasks through Business Process Automation (BPA).
- Coordinate with Operational Care Centres (OCC) for cost topics around haulers, carriers and third parties and with Customer Care Locations (CCL) for revenue topics related to charges towards the customer.
- Review Gross Profit on file, trade-lane and customer levels.
- Immediately report problems, invoicing disputes or credit check issues to customer care teams and your manager; monitor payment behaviour of customers in collaboration with finance teams and work with Sales and Customer Care teams on credit limit adjustments.
- Handle daily Forwarding Sub Ledger (FSL) activities including month end closing.
- Lead CASS challenge resolution and work on improvement processes; getting to the root cause of issues is critical.
- Prepare and support internal and external audits and compile monthly KPI reports as required.

**YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES**:

- Experience in either freight forwarding or transport planning with a key focus on Air Logistics.
- Understanding of financial systems and excellent knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and specifically Excel.
- Ability to understand and execute new processes, manage change and embraxce new technologies.
- Strong affinity with required customer quality standards, a strong customer service orientation and an ability to communicate effectively.
- General finance, accounting, logistics or business administration experience and with an interest in working with transport management systems and statistical figures/data.
- Excellent attention to detail, great problem solving skills and perseverance - you’ll need to be able to get to the root cause of any issues.
- A team player with good organisational skills; you’ll be able to work at pace and meet deadlines.
