Are you seeking a new challenging career in pastoral care supporting young adults to achieve their potential?

**Your opportunity**

We are looking for a confident and professional leader to manage the Regulation Zone creating a calm learning environment for specific SEND students to regulate before returning to class. The Regulation Zone is designed as a safe space to support identified students to both regulate and access learning in an environment where the 'Thrive' approach is embedded throughout. The students you will work with require that little bit extra guidance and support to get things back on track in a quite and calm classroom space. This rewarding role is a real chance to make a difference to the lives of the young people in our community. You will have a passion for supporting young people and a desire to help them develop confidence and skills to deal with the daily challenges they face. You will be part of the wider pastoral team, working with a Head of Year and parents and students alike. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with students, their families, teachers and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes for the student.

The working pattern is 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday, term time only (37.5 hours, 39 weeks). Please see the Job Description and Person Specification for full details.
