Job Title: Care Worker

Abbotsford Care (Glenrothes) Ltd is a family run business under the same ownership since 1987. Being part of the family matters to us and we are looking for those who are keen to sign up to the family ethos. With 8 care homes throughout Fife, we are placed in the heart of the communities with local people at our core. At present our Support Worker post does not meet the minimum requirements for sponsorship, therefore we are unable to offer sponsorship to support workers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide assistance and support to individuals in their daily activities
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Document and report any changes in client's condition or behavior

**Skills**:

- Compassionate and caring nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Patience and understanding when dealing with individuals with varying needs
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing situations

Note: Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

**Salary**: £10.90 per hour
