Perpetual Inventory Controller

A vacancy has arisen within our Supply Chain for a Perpetual Inventory Controller.
You will be responsible for managing all inventory control related activities including:
- Execute inventory control measures to ensure the company maintains accurate stock at all times.
- Stock checking frequently used products.
- Conducting stock location checks daily and keeping and accurate record of all stock changes throughout the year.
- Consulting with accounts department to control financial impacts with stock discrepancies.
- The job role may include other reasonable duties/tasks from time to time.
**Key Responsibilities and accountabilities**:
- Manage and maintain the company’s material and stocked product inventory including stock profiles and stock locations
- Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting / inventory accuracy checks.
- Perform cyclic stock checks.
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system.
- Produce daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the stock are reviewed and any discrepancies addressed and resolved.
- Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed, and resolved.

**Person Specification**:
- Ideally possessing relevant background experience in stock inventory management
- Have a detailed understanding of SAP and inventory control / management systems.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Possess excellent personal organisation and business administration skills.
- Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively, using own initiative
- and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to
- detail and quality.
- Possess the willingness to learn, improve and adapt.
- Forklift licence would be desirable but not essential.
