An opportunity to join a reputable, family-owned, national leisure and tourism business has arisen for an experienced Head Gardner. Working in a fabulous location on the North Wales Coast near Caernarfon you will be able to showcase your passion for gardening whilst working within a small dynamic team

As the Head Gardner, you will be:

- Initially working as a Sole Gardener, undertaking the full range of gardening tasks from weeding and leaf
- blowing up to more horticulturally demanding tasks as required
- Planting, pruning, bed and border development and maintenance, plant propagation
- Mowing and lawn care
- Caring for sculptures and water features
- Ensuring the gardens are maintained and cared for to a high standard
- Planning, organising, and managing the garden care calendar
- Targeted to raise the standards on the park in line with industry promoted award schemes

We are keen to hear from you if you have:

- Excellent horticultural knowledge and previous experience of garden management in a business environment at either Senior or Head level
- Qualified to RHS level 2 or 3 or equivalent in experience
- The ability to confidently operate and provide basic maintenance to garden machinery
- Spray and chainsaw certification is desirable although training may be provided
- Physically fit due to the nature of the work
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a passion for your profession
- A full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to work weekends
