Accounts Assistant

**Responsibilities and Duties for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:

- **
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Ensuring that all sales and purchase invoices are posted in a timely manner and interfaced between the operating system and the accounts package
- Credit Control - Chasing customers for non-payment of invoices
- Liaising with customers regarding sales queries and discussing with the operations team
- Allocate invoices to payments sent
- Produce Sales statements for clients on a fortnightly basis
- Produce and investigate a debit balance report for the purchase ledger
- Registering, posting and filing purchase invoices
- Reconciling statements and preparing payments for supplier on agreed amounts and in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Liaising with suppliers regarding queries on their invoices
- Processing overhead invoices and credit card statements

**Essential requirements for the Accounts Assistant role are -**
- AAT Level 2 or above preferred
- Credit Control experience
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Good communication skills
- Professional approach, self-motivated, punctual and has a strong attention to detail
