Production Welder

**Duties**:

- Perform welding operations on various metal components, including Aliminuim/ Stainless Steel.
- Read and interpret drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding techniques and procedures
- Set up and operate welding equipment, such as MIG, TIG, or stick welders, to join metal parts together
- Inspect welds for quality and accuracy, making any necessary adjustments or repairs
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and fabricate metal materials
- Assist in the assembly and installation of fabricated components
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications:

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding principles and techniques
- Familiarity with codes and standards related to welding processes
- Proficiency in soldering, pipe threading, rigging, fabricating, plasma cutting, and forklift operation is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot welding issues
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required
- Previous experience in welding or a related field is preferred but not required

- Blackpool: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- MIG welding: 1 year (preferred)
- Fabrication: 1 year (preferred)
