Tig Welder

Currently seeking TIG Welder for a Manufacturer and distributor of cylinders products in the Blackpool area.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 6AM- 2:30PM or 2PM - 12AM with some flexibility around working hours. The rate of pay would depend on the shift and the skill set.

**Responsibilities of the TIG Welder**
- Read and interpret production drawings in order to lay out a welding project, fabricate and weld
- Maintain welding safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a risk-free work environment
- Carry out welding according to set dimensions to meet general test requirements
- Organise and clean welding equipment on a regular basis
- Promote good housekeeping practices
- Meet production targets whilst maintaining our standards of quality
- Lay out, measure, and align metal work pieces prior to welding using straightedges, rules, and calipers.

**Requirements of the TIG Welder**
- Strong attention to detail.
- Problem solving
- Proven skill set using TIG
- Good accuracy and organisational skills.
- Ability to work on your own and the team
