**Key Account Manager - Drinks - Big push on the Whisky Brand**

**The role of the Key Account Manager -**As a Key Account Manager you will be tasked with looking after the existing portfolio of clients, typically made up of independent gift stores, online stores and wine and spirit merchants. There is abig focus on educating and promoting their Whisky. Their product is premium and your decision makers will need to be educated on the complexity of the whisky.

**Requirements for the Key Account Manager Role**:

- 2 years+ B2B sales experience
- Drinks experience required (selling into the industry or previous experience as a mixologist)
- Appreciation/Understanding of whisky.
- Hunter mentality
- Proven new business track record

**The company the Key Account Manager will be joining**:
They distil all their whisky right here in the UK. They take inspiration from perfumers who create a pyramid of aromas using a base, middle and top notes. This inspiration has helped create their own, perfect malt whisky. They are agile and have no red tapeacross the business which allows them to be flexible and make quicker decisions to win business and have satisfied, long lasting relationships with their clients.

**The package**
- Basic salary - £30-35,000
- OTE - 15%
- Car allowance, pension, 25 days holiday + bank holidays

**Location of the Key Account Manager**:Although this role has requirement to travel around the country, due to where majority of their business is based you will ideally live in Manchester, Cheshire or Yorkshire.
