Ashton Park School wish to recruit invigilators to be part of their dynamic invigilation team, who are prepared to work flexibly and are committed to supporting our students during their exams.

No experience is necessary and full training will be provided, but the following are essential:

- Good organisational skills
- Reliability
- Punctuality
- Flexibility
- Maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to communicate and connect with young people
- Ability to read and write exams for some of our students; and
- A successful DBS check

Invigilators are required for exam periods throughout the year, specifically during the busy May and June sessions and would suit applicants interested in picking up part time hours, on an ad hoc basis. Hours are variable and allocated as required and paid at a rate of £11.18 per hour plus holiday pay. Work usually starts at 8.00am for morning exams and 12.30pm for afternoon exams.

Duties include:

- The secure distribution and collection of exam materials
- Providing, keeping a record of and supervising an appropriate environment for students to take their examinations
- Ensuring that all exam board regulations are enforced during the examinations
- Managing time keeping of exams and once session are completed, ensuring all learners leave and prepare the set up for the next session
