Applications are invited for Clinical Research Fellow in Trauma and Orthopaedics within Cardiff and Vale Health Board, which are available for 12 monthsfrom1 August 2023 until 6 August 2024

This post isnotrecognised for training by the Royal College of Surgeons.

This role is tailored for those wishing to enhance both research and clinical experience at the transition from core to specialist training. The Orthopaedic Trauma Service in UHW is a key surgical specialty in the South Wales Major Trauma Centre. Thus we offer the opportunity to participate not only in the clinical care of trauma patients, but also our expanding research into the response to injury, recovery and surgical education.

Applications for those already in possession of a higher research degree or extensive clinical experience in T/O, above Jnr Registrar level will not be considered.

References will be required to cover a minimum of three years of previous employment and/or training
