We are looking for an Sales Counter assistant to join our team.

Ideally, we need someone with experience of working in a builders' merchant type environment with a valid forklift license an advantage.

You must have strong customer service and communication skills which will help you as you serve on our Sales Counter. Duties will include answering the phone, dealing with sales enquiries and giving advise to our DIY clientele, keeping our shop clean and fully stocked, stock ordering and helping in the yard with loading and unloading vehicles as and when required.

You will also occasionally be carrying out deliveries in our van so a clean driving license is essential.

We are looking for someone who has the drive and desire to learn additional skills and eventually become multi-skilled within all roles of the business.

Hours..

Mon - Fri 07.30 - 17.00 + alternate Saturdays 08.00 - 17.00

**Salary**: £28,175.68 per year
