**Learning Facilitator**

**About us**:
We provide an open access offer of learning opportunities, coaching, and mentoring programmes and health, wellbeing and enrichment activities for neurodiverse children, young people and families including needs associated with autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, specific learning difficulties, SEND and associated mental health needs, and for the professionals who support them.

**Role & Responsibilities**:
We are looking for individuals to engage, educate, equip, enable, encourage and empower neurodiverse children, young people and their families and supporting professionals

Full time, 52 weeks and may include some evening and weekend working to deliver learning activities and attend events as well as working from the office (currently in Speke)

Consideration given to part/time/flexible working.

Planning, delivery and development of quality assured, evidence based informal and structured learning opportunities

Community Network Groups, learning programmes and workshops,health, wellbeing and enrichment activities, including school holiday activities

Provide ongoing wrap around information, advice and guidance support

Develop relationships and build partnerships with supporting professionals, schools, and agencies, attending meetings and community engagement events

Work flexibly and collaboratively with all team members supporting the ongoing design, development, and delivery of our offer.

Support the smooth running of the organisation including general day to day administration tasks and provide cover for other team members and the office as required.

**Requirements**:
A recognised qualification in teaching (minimum Teaching and Learning Level 3), or a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate experience and ability in this work.

Wide ranging / extensive knowledge and understanding of the needs of, and challenges faced by, neurodiverse children, young people and their families, and genuine insight into the impact on family life, education and social inclusion and emotional wellbeing.

Experience in researching, designing, developing and delivering learning opportunities, training events / workshops and facilitating group work (online and face to face)

Experience in engaging, welcoming and encouraging participants to access and to participate.

Able to demonstrate excellent communication and strong facilitation skills, promoting an inclusive and supportive environment and positive experience

Strong planning, organisation, administration and time management skills; able to work both independently and closely with the rest of the team with a resourceful and confidential approach.

A clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently across Cheshire and Merseyside and the North West region
