We are a dog training and walking business looking for a Dog trainer/daycare assistant to join our small team.

The role of Dog trainer/daycare assistant is a versatile role with a lot of different responsibilities to the role. This will be mainly
- General daycare duties
- Picking up + Dropping off dogs for daycare
- Doing training with dogs in daycare
- Offering 1-2-1 services to members of the public
- Setting up and conducting dog training courses and classes (full training provided)
- Administrative duties, including writing up training, contacting clients, updating forms, website updates and more.
- Opening and closing daycare at times
- Occasional weekend work required

This position will be a flexible ‘Jack of all trades’ position and will require a strong work ethic, a lot of self-motivation and a hard working individual. This individual should be confident delivering training advice to clients and be able to work towards running dog training classes in the near future. We only train using ethical training methods via positive reinforcement.
- Previous experience of working with animals
- Previous experience of 1-2-1 dog training with positive reinforcement
- Hold a valid UK driving licence
- A level 3 animal care qualification minimum
- Experience running training classes
- Have an extensive knowledge of dog training from courses such as IMDT or equivalent.
- Experience working with big groups of dogs

This role is a part time 3 full days per week role (potential for overtime), £22,500-25,000 Pro rata depending on experience and qualifications.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24-30 per week

**Salary**: £22,500.00-£25,000.00 per year
