Are you interested in joining our team on ward L4 as a ward clerk?

If so you will become part of a close working, highly skilled team within an acute surgical setting, looking after emergency and elective patients. Your role will include many skills and responsibility’s such as regular communication with patients and their relatives, liaising with other departments such as recovery and ED, ordering and stocking or ward essentials and working alongside the nurse in charge to help facilitate patient flow.

Main duties of the job

To ensure, through clerical tasks, the smooth running of the clinical environment, which may be in any area of the Medical Unit as directed, according to the needs of the service.

**Qualifications**:
Essential criteria

Numerate and literate.
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.Desirable criteria
- Educated to GCSE level A-C or equivalent.Experience

Experience of using IT packages.
