Mary Seacole Housing Association Limited provides accommodation to single homeless people between the ages of 16 - 65.

**Purpose of post**:
Health & Safety and Facilities

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance with company’s Health & Safety, Repairs & Facilities procedures.
- Ownership and control of Health & Safety within the organisation.
- Work collaboratively with the Quality Assurance Manager and Maintenance Officer to ensure all day-to-day maintenance requests are reported, logged and acted upon.
- Oversee planned and preventative maintenance works by third parties to ensure the projects run smoothly and efficiently within a safe and harmonious environment.
- Coordinate maintenance contracts including cleaning, security, repairs etc.; and oversee coordination of schedules, efficient work distribution and relief needs as required.
- Delivering first line support on all IT related problems within the Association.
- Install PCs, telephone systems, wireless networks and peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones) related to desktop infrastructure
- Complete and provide reports on risks assessments, health & safety and fire safety.
- Updating the Association’s database and spreadsheets
- Maintaining maintenance records.
- Carry out the responsibilities of the post with full commitment to the aims and objectives of the Mary Seacole Housing Association and its Equal Opportunities Policy and other Policies
- Working within an assigned budget in relation to maintenance and facilities
- Aid in ensuring the work environment complies with all legal requirements.

**Salary**: £24,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Luton, Bedfordshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (required)

**Experience**:

- Computer literate and strong office software: 1 year (required)
- of working in a maintenance, IT and compliance environment: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- Fluent English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driving License (required)

Work authorisation:

- United Kingdom (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bedfordshire
