**About the role**: The Department of Population Health Sciences is looking to appoint an Administrator on a part-time basis. This position will help administer a Community of Practice to organise meetings and aid in the production and distribution of resources.

The Medical Research Council have recently funded a number of research collaboratives to study multimorbidity. The statistical analyses of these research collaboratives have many overlapping themes and methods. Therefore, we are generating a Community of Practice that will i) harness expertise across the collaboratives to generate best practices, ii) reduce duplicated work and, iii) Increase collaboration and compatibility of the analyses. This will be achieved by hosting in-person and virtual events. From these events a set of resources will be generated that will be able to be shared back to each of the research collaboratives and the wider research community. This will include documentation of “best practices” for how studies should be conducted, computer code to allow work to be reproduced and disease code lists for defining multimorbidity in different data sources. We will also produce educational videos through the HDR-UK Futures Platform that will promote multimorbidity research and describe the best practices for performing multimorbidity research.

**About you**: To be successful in this role you will have experience in organising and delivering in person events as well as the ability to arrange and set-up virtual meetings. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, in order to communicate effectively with all members of the Community of Practice. Your skills will consist of budget management, planning and time management, attention to detail as well as using own initiative and working independently.
