**Salary**: £21,774 pro rata, 2 days per week

Contract: Fixed term for 3 years

The Role

Our Space is a creative programme that works with people with lived experience of homelessness, mental health issues, substance misuse, reoffending or those who feel socially isolated for other reasons.

The key purpose of this role is to provide administrative support for the day-to-day running of the programme. Working closely with the Our Space Programme Manager and freelance practitioners, the Our Space Programme Assistant & Wellbeing Support will play a key role in the setting up and co-ordination of programme activities, including liaising with relevant communities, referral and partner organisations, monitoring activities to ensure success in achieving funding outcomes, as well as overseeing the pastoral care of participants and holding a knowledge of relevant signposting.

The Our Space Programme Assistant & Wellbeing Support will attend relevant meetings, conferences and events representing the Theatre and Our Space. They will ensure compliance with all company policies, particularly Equal Opportunities and Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults.

The Our Space Programme Assistant & Wellbeing Support will work collaboratively with all members of the team to ensure that the programme is coherent, opportunities are shared and understood.

The Our Space Programme Assistant & Wellbeing Support will have lived experience of homelessness, mental health issues, substance misuse, reoffending or social isolation.

Here is an overview of what you would be doing:

- To administrate the running of regular programme activity including weekly and one off workshops, residencies, theatre visits and performances, including necessary room bookings, equipment, refreshments, transport and childcare
- Meet participants upon session arrival/departure to ensure smooth pick-ups/drop offs
- To communicate with project participants and referral organisations regarding sessions, transport, extra activities and any particular arrangements as required
- To utilise a PC within a busy office environment to undertake administrative duties via Outlook, Word, Excel and databases such as Tessitura
- To administrate and attend all relevant meetings, such as evaluation and planning sessions and minute take where appropriate
- To support the Our Space Programme Manager in the monitoring and evaluation of term content, collating all relevant statistics and information as required
- To maintain consent forms and contact sheets, gathering and collating information required from participants
- Set-up and minute the programme steering committee meetings
- Provide person-centred support for participants from across the programme, working closely with the Our Space Programme Manager to enable them to transition into other opportunities in the Theatre and in the wider community
- To support practitioners in the pastoral care of participants, promoting a mutually supportive attitude within the groups and identifying any particular individual needs
- Wherever possible to increase participants involvement with the Theatre Royal Plymouth more broadly
