**Technical Sales Manager**

**Location: Cambridge**

**Salary: £50k-£70k (dep on exp) + OTE + excellent benefits**

A great opportunity for a Technical Sales Manager with a technical engineering (mechanical/electronic) background to join a high-technology manufacturing company developing complex, high-value equipment for the semiconductor industry. This is a rapidly growingcompany with a bulging order book for their World-class products so you can expect to be very busy - using all of your commercial and technical skills for high-profile global clients

The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for contributing to the overall business forecasts as well as developing the technical and product road-maps (e.g. defining market requirement specifications) from customer inputs and examining their needs.This requires close customer interaction and monitoring of global markets and the competitive landscape to ensure our products remain one step ahead. Frequent international travel for customer visits and attendances of conferences is required.

The Technical Sales Manager will play a key role in the business; utilising your technical and commercial expertise, being an ambassador for the company; hosting customers, conference presentations whilst being an integral part of the strategic plans forthe business.

The Technical Sales Manager will need the following:

- A degree within Engineering (Mechanical or Electronic) or equivalent
- Recent and relevant experience working was a Technical Sales Lead/Manager developing specialist bespoke high-value capital equipment for the semiconductor industry. (Similar types of equipment/industries will be considered e.g. CVD, MOCVD, PECVD, etching,photo-lithography, ion implantation, deposition and/or silicon wafer fabrication)
- Excellent communication and customer facing/rapport building skills
- Ability to convey highly technical concepts in a business context
- Motivated, independent and able to work with internal and external stakeholders
- Required computer literacy with proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with SAP desirable.
