**Warehouse & Projects Manager**

**North London - commutable from Walthamstow, Hackney, Tottenham, Edmonton, Cheshunt, Loughton**

**Package: Dependent on experience and skills, c£45,000**

**Monday to Friday - 10:00 - 19:00 (flexibility required)**

Are you an experienced Warehouse Manager looking for an opportunity to join a successful, innovative, fast-growing business with ambitious future plans? Have you successfully managed system and process-based projects within a warehouse environment? If so,this is an excellent opportunity for you to join a dynamic business going through a sustained period of change and development.

In this newly created role, you’ll manage all site functions across a busy, fast-paced warehouse and distribution operation, proactively leading a small team to deliver excellent service to its large customer base.

A key aspect of this role will be the management of a project to deliver full automation of warehouse operations via a WMS. Using your previous experience and strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, you’ll work closely with the Head of Operationsto deliver this critical project, from scoping through to delivery.

**What You’ll Bring**:

- Previous experience of delivering IT (WMS) implementations
- Proven people management skills - able to motivate, engage and lead a team confidently and effectively
- Previous experience of managing fast-paced warehouse operations (FMCG, retail, food, drinks) - ideally from a 3PL environment
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operational best practice
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practice for warehouse operations.
- Good knowledge and experience of stock control processes
- Financial understanding/cost management experience
- Collaborative working style, able to work cross-functionally across the business
- A really positive, can-do approach; able to work both strategically and in a hands-on way to support your team and the operation in a growing business
- A current FLT license is desirable but not essential (flexi/counter balance)
