TBD (Owen Holland) are market leaders in the supply of Ground Support and Ground Handling Equipment.

The successful applicant must be able to:

- Working in a clean environment building Hydraulic systems fitted to newly built vehicles.
- Fitting of new purchased Hydraulic cylinders and control valves.
- Installation of hydraulic piping from source through to cylinders.
- Small diameter pipe bending and fitting to automotive type chassis.
- Fitting of small vehicle type hydraulic systems.
- Follow basic mechanical engineering assembly drawings.
- Use various hand power tools to include both air driven and battery driven tools.
- Use of basic measuring equipment.
- Manual handling of components of different shapes and weight.
- Assemble various components and fix in place with bolts, screws and other fixings as instructed via assembly drawings.
- Occasional use of overhead crane to include lifting with slings and chain.
- Working as part of a small team when assembling larger items.
- High degree of quality control including self-assessment of the work being done within your small team.
- Attention to detail involving drawing and customer specifications during different stages of each build.
- Understand the importance of Health and Safety in conjunction with Quality and production scheduling.
- Fork lift license/overhead crane license (a distinct advantage)
