**Based in Northamptonshire, full time onsite.**
I am looking for an experienced 2nd Line IT Infrastructure Engineer to ensure my clients IT systems run smoothly and are always available, whilst providing excellent service. This role involves both project-based work and BAU support. You will need to be available for shift work across evenings and weekends, on a rota basis.
Knowledge / Experience:
- Proven commercial experience providing 2nd Line IT Support
- Experience working in IT for medium/large companies.
- The ability to handle multiple IT tasks in a busy environment.
- Planning and leading work with other people, inside and outside the company.
- Following ITIL, PRINCE2, Agile best practices.
- Supporting colleagues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Strong knowledge with business software, servers, and networks.
- Managing databases and keeping them running smoothly.
- Keeping IT systems safe from hackers and viruses.
- A background in motorsport, car manufacturing, or engineering is essential.
