We are seeking talented individuals to join our team as Customer Consultants in both Sales & Aftersales at our **Barnsley, Sheffield, Worksop, Doncaster and Rotherham** dealerships. **About the role**:
We are looking for applicants who are well presented with excellent customer service skills and a professional manner. This is a permanent, full-time position. Experience in the automotive sector is not essential, as all training is provided to support your success in the role.
**Responsibilities day to day (Customer Consultant - Sales)**:
- Welcoming guests into the showroom, and engaging with them to discuss requirements
- Sell vehicles profitably and be able to achieve targets agreed with the Sales Manager
- Co-ordinate and work alongside the Sales Manager
- Promote and maintain excellent customer relations by personal manner, appearance, integrity, and loyalty
- Prepare order forms and other relevant paperwork
**Responsibilities day to day (Customer Consultant - Aftersales)**:
- To build effective rapport with aftersales customers, and to effectively establish their servicing and repair needs.
- To provide effective advice to meet customer needs, whilst adhering to our standards and legal requirements.
- To effectively upsell aftersales products and services to meet customer needs, meeting both individual and team targets.
- To correctly handle incoming aftersales enquiries, providing good quality service and advice, and achieving the required appointments.
- To correctly and efficiently administer service bookings and sales ensuring clear communication to the sales department, parts team, and workshop.
- To ensure complete customer satisfaction through the provision of high quality service and advice.
**About you (Sales & Aftersales)**:
Essential:
- Full UK Manual Drivers Licence
- Customer centric attitude
- Excellent customer service skills & proven ability to build a strong rapport with customers
- Flexible and ability to work evenings and weekends (on a rota basis)
Desirable:
- 2 years’ experience in a customer-facing service role
- Previous retail sales experience
