At Randstad, we are seeing an empathetic SEN teaching assistant ready to extend support to children with special needs. You will be supporting children aged between 9-16 in a specialist school based in the Harrogate, HG3 area. This is a full time position from Monday through Friday (8:30AM - 3:30PM).

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong communication when working with children.
- Adjust teaching approaches to accommodate various learning styles and individual needs.
- Possess knowledge of behaviour management techniques to foster positive behaviour.

**Requirements**:

- The assurance to assess educational requirements and actively explore innovative teaching approaches.
- Readiness and capacity to adjust to evolving situations.
- The capability to offer personalised attention, assurance, and aid with educational tasks.
- A solid comprehension of child development and the learning process.
- Possession of an enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one.
- Proficiency in the national Key Stage Curriculum.
- Eligibility to work in the UK (Sponsorship not provided).
