Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant required for a primary school in Harrogate. They offer education for a diverse range of students, and are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part time basis. They require one day working as a general Teaching Assistant, the rest of the week working one to one with a child with SEND (not behavioural) Working mornings only until 1.15pm 22.5 hours per week.

- Ability to relate well to pupils and young adults with additional needs
- Be confident, passionate, and highly motivated.

**Within the role you are required to**:

- work within the classroom or other learning areas, to support access to learning for students.
- assist teaching/senior staff in the management of students.
- work under the guidance of the SENDCo to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups to support access to learning for students.
