**CGSU Business Support Assistant (1.0 WTE)**

If you thrive being organised, and in providing business and administrative support to a team, the CGSU Business Support Assistant post could be for you.

You will work within the Clinical Governance Support Unit (CGSU), which supports NHSGGC in providing high quality, safe, effective and person-centred healthcare. The CGSU is led by the Director of Clinical and Care Governance and is managed within the Board Medical Directorate. This post provides an exciting opportunity to make a contribution to the business function of the unit, and in organising, administrating and supporting the senior managers and wider team to deliver the work plan.

**What you'll do**

Key tasks will include but are not restricted to:

- Working with the business support team to develop, implement and support new processes to improve ways of working, and contribute to the key objectives of the workplan
- Maintaining office systems and processes, to enable the unit to function effectively
- Disseminating key internal / external communications from the CGSU / senior management team
- Provide support to the senior management team with ad-hoc requests
- Upload and maintain information and materials on the NHSGGC website, intranet and CGSU SharePoint / MS Teams sites
- Support the planning and organisation of virtual events, such as webinars, meetings, training events, conferences, interviews. This will include working across multiple platforms and liaising with presenters / attendees / facilitators from a range of colleagues across NHSGGC. It will also include the management of event recordings.

**What you'll bring**

These will include but are not restricted to:

- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Good communication skills, including oral, written and interpersonal
- ECDL in Microsoft Office professional packages or able to demonstrate equivalent proficiency
- Able to work on own initiative and know when to seek advice
- Experience of working as part of a team
- Knowledge and skills in data processing
- Experience of minute taking

You will ideally be educated to HNC level (or able to demonstrate equivalent ability/experience), with experience of working within the health service.
