**About the Trust**
Our staff work in lots of different locations and do lots of different things. They look after people at home, in the community and in hospital. They work in local health centres, schools and GP practices as well as our hospitals. We also run lots of specialist services. This means patients come to our hospitals from right across the region.
**What you’ll be responsible for**:
- Dealing with telephone enquiries, this involves a lot of patients contact via telephone to schedule appointments.
- There will be a lot of data entry on the patient administration system, so good attention to detail is essential.
- You will also be responsible for dealing with enquires from clerical and secretarial staff, Medical, AHP's and Nursing staff, other Trust Personnel and general enquires from patients and members of the public both face to face and over the phone.
- Sort and distribute incoming post and organise and send outgoing post.
- Organise, store and archive paperwork, documents, and computer
- based information.
- To photocopy and print various documents.
**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.
**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:
- Good standard of education with numeracy and literacy at minimum GSCE C Grade or equivalent.
- Previous clerical Experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Excellent IT and keyboard skills.
- Excellent telephone manner
- Microsoft Office package knowledge e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel
- Knowledge and awareness of Data Protection & Information Governance guidelines
