Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Activities co-ordinator to join our team at a residential/nursing care facility. The Activities co-ordinator will be responsible for planning and coordinating engaging activities for our residents, ensuring their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program that meets the needs and interests of our residents
- Plan and organize a variety of recreational and social activities
- Coordinate outings and special events for residents
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a positive and stimulating environment for residents
- Assess individual resident needs and preferences to tailor activities accordingly
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation in activities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a care or nursing home setting
- Understanding of dementia care and the specific needs of residents with cognitive impairments
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
