Supply Chain Co-ordinator

Our client has been delivering global security print solutions to customers around the world for over 75 years. They are a trusted partner with specialist knowledge, supplying customers with products from anti-counterfeit technology and education certificatesto electronic payslip software and ballot papers. They are currently looking for a **Supply Chain Co-ordinator** to join their hardworking and dedicated team.
- Demonstrable experience in a supply chain management or procurement environment
- Possess contract management and supplier experience
- Be familiar with MRP, estimating and procurement solutions
- Knowledge and technical understanding of supply chain management processes
- Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements
- Be calm under pressure, working to tight deadlines and quick turn arounds
- Possess great negotiation skills
- Be computer literate
- Project management experience is desirable
**Your duties as a Supply Chain Co-ordinator will include**:
- Ensuring that purchasing policies and processes are adhered to, to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets, which enable the company to function and compete effectively in the market
- Continually review best practice purchasing policies, processes and procedures to maintain and improve business performance and deliver best value and savings
- Ensuring purchasing policy, guidelines and associated documents are maintained and updated as required
- Developing supplier initiatives to ensure appropriate supplier partnerships and the delivery of products
- Identifying risk and implementing mitigation strategies
- Developing creative and innovative procurement processes to bring improvements to the business
- Producing regular reports
**Salary**:
£25,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience
**Hours**:
- Monday - Thursday, 8.30am - 5.30pm
- Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm
- Permanent
