**We now have an exciting opportunity for a Bid Writer who is looking for their next challenge. With a salary of £35K - £40K per annum (depending on skills and experience) plus commission, you will be working for an Award winning Caterer and enjoy working in a friendly and vibrant team**

**ROLE SUMMARY**
As a proactive self-starter, you will prepare pre-tender qualification (PPQ) documents and co-write and collate persuasive, personalised tender submissions. Your role will involve working closely with the Business Development Managers for guidance and coordinating sales activities with the Telemarketing Manager, Business Development Managers, and clients. It will also be important for you to maintain frequent communication with our Marketing Manager and other external resources that support our business.
A significant part of your role involves writing convincing content that spotlights the benefits of Accent Catering’s services. Your writing skills will be instrumental in obtaining new contracts and retaining our existing client base. As a vital member of our team, your input will significantly contribute to our company's growth and the retention of our clients within the Education sector. Furthermore, you will actively participate in evaluating and enhancing bid submissions.
LOCATION
The role is based in Accent’s head office in Staines-upon-Thames but we can also offer hybrid working if preferred.
**QUALIFICATIONS and ATTRIBUTES**
Previous experience in bid coordination or writing is essential for this role. You must have the ability to work independently, manage pressures, and meet tight deadlines. An exceptional level of attention to detail is a critical requirement for this role.
- Proven experience in writing high-scoring content for competitive tenders.
- Relevant work experience in new business development or a similar environment.
- Can manage the proposal development process and work with different people inside the company.
- Ability to use InDesign, Illustrator and other similar programs.
- Willing to challenge usual ways to improve the quality of written submissions.
- Can work collaboratively with others to produce quality work.
- Proven experience in producing tender documents and similar written content.
- Advanced levels of MS Office.
- Proactive and has a positive attitude.
- Has excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Experience in writing tender responses for Contract Catering Contracts would be an advantage.
**SALARY & BENEFITS**
Salary £35,000 - £40,000 p.a. plus commission
Holiday 25 days p.a. plus bank holidays
Pension 4% employer contribution / 4% employee contribution
