**THE COMPANY**:
Our client is a global financial services firm, specializing in private banking and asset management services.

**THE RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist the Head of Financial Crime Compliance and MLRO with their oversight of the Financial Crime Framework.
- Monitor exception reports and system generated alerts on account transactional activities.
- Review and approve relevant customer Periodic Reviews and trigger events, and ensure timely completion to meet deadlines.
- Identify potential areas of Financial Crime vulnerability and risk, develop/implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.
- Provide AML and broader financial crime advisory to staff, including identifying themes and trends to proactively address these with solutions.
- Conduct regular and periodic second line monitoring of first line activities relevant to the Financial Crime Framework.
- Assist in financial crime investigations as instructed by the Head of Financial Crime Compliance and MLRO.
- Prepare and submit periodic management information to senior management, including Group Compliance, and senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g. Internal Audit, Group Compliance, etc.) to direct Financial Crime Issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution, consulting with the Head of Financial Crime Compliance and MLRO as required.
- Assist in providing adequate provision of Financial Crime training for relevant staff.
- Demonstrate commitment to inclusive and non-discriminatory working practices.

**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- Must be wiling to work in the office 5 days pe week (fully office based role)
- Knowledge of the banking industry and relevant regulatory requirements/expectations.
- Experience working within the financial sector; private banking desirable but not essential.
- Experience in a first or second line of defence position relevant to financial crime compliance.
- Experience reporting management information and/or managing committee business desirable but not essential.
