Overview

Mastercard Academy was established over 30 years ago to help our customers and partners gain the knowledge, skills and insights needed to succeed in the world of payments.

Over this time, we have developed our training offering not just in the what we deliver, but also in the how we provide it.

With a 10-year history of providing on-line education, we are evolving our remote learning capabilities to deliver a range of services and need an exceptional System Administrator to join us to help realize our vision of being the preferred learning partner for the industry.

This role has a key part to play in the success of this initiative and presents an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join us on this journey.

The Role:
Working closely with the project team, regional Academy Leads and their teams, you will help drive the successful deployment of the new platform.

You’ll bring a deep technical expertise to the project team, with your HTML and CSS experience, quickly familiarising yourself with the key components of the platform and its back-end operations, supporting the regional configuration, testing and launch activities. Once successfully deployed, you will act as the lead Platform Administrator, monitoring platform performance, ensuring compliance with key Mastercard policies, trouble-shooting any issues which arise.

You will work closely with the global Platform Owner to shape the roadmap for future developments, driving ongoing improvements through the introduction of new features/functionality and enhancing the CX and design elements.

Key responsibilities include:

- Build workflows for technical interventions, maintenance, and updates in the system.
- Establish a sandbox - production environment workflow and solid documentation log for assuring stability and success
- Create and map support/service processes and ensure these are regularly reviewed and updated.
- Provide first line technical support to the regional teams - escalating, if necessary to the platform provider’s support team - to promptly resolve issues.
- Drive and plan the continuous improvement of the platform to ensure a seamless learner experience.
- Support with user provisioning and global report generation as requested.

All About You
- You will have at least two years system administration experience, ideally in SaaS-based and/or HR/L&D systems.
- You will bring a broad technical skillset to the team; possessing solid skills in web design to enable you to enhance the UX and design features of the platform (minimum - HTML and CSS, desired - React, GraphQL, Made, and Tailwind CSS).
- Familiarity with APIs would be seen as an advantage, enabling you to leverage the platform’s extensive API library to automate tasks/updates where possible.
- You will be able to translate the capabilities on the API-side of things to an added value for our non-technical colleagues is an absolute must.
- You are a quick-learner who can rapidly grasp technological concepts and use your technical understanding to identify optimizations for current processes and workflows to help create efficiencies.
- You have a passion for technology and continuously update your skillset to ensure it remains current.
- You have a strong ability to multi-task and prioritise your workload accordingly. - You possess excellent communication and customer service skills and are comfortable working with individuals from across the globe
- You will be a proactive team player
- You are fluent in English (verbal and written) - other languages would be an advantage.
