This job roles may be suitable for hybrid working, which is an informal, non-contractual and voluntary arrangement, blending a balance of attendance in the workplace (your permanent duty station which is based on business assessment of where the work is best done) and working remotely. However, due to the nature of this particular role, you will be required to attend site, for a minimum of 3 days per week.

**Job description**:
You will lead the scrutiny, staffing, planning and delivery of all changes to working, accommodation and technical infrastructure on sites where Defence Digital has Head of Establishment (HoE) responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

- Lead the development and management of DD Infrastructure requirement definitions.
- Lead the scrutiny, planning, project management and delivery of DD Infrastructure change projects, including both construction and technical digital infrastructure requirements.
- Lead on assuring the delivery performance of DD Infrastructure change projects.
- Provide support to UK Strategic Command (UKStratCom) Infrastructure in the development of the UKStratCom Estate Optimisation Programmes, and to lead the delivery of DD Estate Optimisation Programmes.
- Lead support to DD Finance in their development, management, and reporting of Infrastructure funding.
- Lead all matters of DD Infrastructure Policy and Process and their development. Management and production of DD Infrastructure Governance, Policies and Processes as part of the DD Internal Process framework.
- Be the Infrastructure Line of Development lead for all DD new capabilities and ABC options.
- Develop and maintain an accurate DD Infrastructure Project 10 year, programme plan aligned with UKStratCom and Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) agreed programmes.
- Set up and run the DD Infrastructure Board to identify, prioritise and align DD infrastructure change programmes under the overarching Infrastructure Plan.
- Lead for DD on maintaining regular internal and external stakeholder engagement and communication on all Infrastructure Delivery and Capability matters. This includes 10 DD Directorates, UKStratCom Infrastructure, DIO and PFI Delivery Partners.
- UK StratCom Head of Establishment, Health Safety and Environmental Protection Course

Desirable:

- HNC or BIFM Level 4 or 5 in any Property Profession Qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services or Facilities Management.

**Person specification**:
You will be the lead for the scrutiny, staffing, planning and delivery of all changes to working, accommodation and technical infrastructure on all DD led sites and enclaves.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a friendly disposition, possessing good communication skills with a customer focused mindset.

You will need to be confident and able to work under pressure whilst always remaining polite and courteous and will need to have the ability to use a degree of initiative, and the ability to retain information to prioritise daily duties.
