Mixer (Ingredients)

**Hours of Work - 1.30pm - 10pm**

**Main Purpose and Context of the Job**

To support the Production team in the continuous and efficient operation of your area. To perform any tasks as required by the Mixing Supervisor in order to achieve full plan attainment. To ensure you adhere to company Health & Safety regulations and to support your team with strict “clean as you go” conformance. Comply with Safe Systems of Work, Safe Operating Procedures and GMP in any given task.

Specifically:
To Carry out any Mixing Responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor

**Key Activities and Key Performance Measures**
- To carryout a range of hygiene tasks, ensuring your area of responsibility is clean and tidy.
- Ensure correct cleaning materials / equipment / PPE is used for the task being carried out.
- To carry out a range of mixing activities including operating equipment as per Safe systems of work
- To Ensure appropriate equipment and materials availability for area
- Knowledge of all required documentation and ensure all relevant paperwork is up to date along with KPI’s.
- Work with NPD on trials and methods
- Maintain a safe working environment for self and others. To liaise with Mixing Supervisor with respect to raising close calls and identifying safety issues
- Any other duties as may reasonably be expected to ensure adequate levels of output are maintained.
- To check all the traceability sheets to ensure methodology is correct and work with Technical, NPD and the Mixing Supervisor to make necessary changes.

**Formal Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge**
- Food Safety Level 2 (as a minimum)
- Health & Safety Level 2
- Skills and Knowledge as per Key Activity and Performance Measures
