Healthcare Assistant
The role
We’re looking for a passionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Theatre department, Putting patients first, you’ll be given time to care for each person in a specific role as a unique individual.
Our Theatre Department is busy and colleagues will rely on your support. Together, you’ll deliver the highest quality clinical outcomes in a supported environment. Main duties include:
- Preparing procedure specific surgical kits guided by pick list/kardex.- Ensure Integrity and completeness of products and instrumentation in a timely manner.- Liaise directly with clinical staff and materials management team and CSSD when required.- Remove any used kitting hardware and highlight products that are low in stock/unavailable as necessary.- Work in a flexible way adapting to workload and demands.- Liaises with internal personnel and external partners/suppliers on loan deliveries/returns- Assist the supplies team and CSSD as required.- To communicate and assist al staff professionally to deliver the high standards of service required.- The post holder is expected to be courteous and helpful to all patients and visitors in the execution of duties.- To carry out any other duties as directed.
