**Programme Officer - Continuous Improvement**

**A well-established organisation based in Belfast, are currently seeking an experienced Programme Officer - Continuous Improvement to join their team.**

This is a Full-time, temporary position initially for 9-12 months - to start immediately

Hybrid - Three days office/two days WFH

Working hours: Monday to Friday (37 hours per week)

With an hourly rate of £17.39 per hour (equivalent to £33,459 per annum)

Closing Date Monday 14th November

**Job Purpose**:
You will be responsible for the development of standardised processes, monitoring process effectiveness and improving the performance of the organisation.

**Essential Criteria**:

- 5 GCSEs grades A - C (including English Language and Maths) or equivalent or a Leaving Certificate (Standard/Ordinary level) - 5 grades A - C (including English Language and Maths) or equivalent AND 3rd Level Qualification
- Good technical skills with experience of using spreadsheets and databases as well as being proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Visio and/or Google Suite
- Experience in process improvements and project delivery, formal qualification is an advantage (PMP, Prince 2 etc.)
- Experience in drafting processes, procedures, monitoring reports and follow-up action
- Experience in working with, understanding and interpreting data
- A working knowledge and practical experience with process improvement methodology, formal qualification is preferable e.g., Six Sigma, Lean digital
- Good technical understanding of Business Analysis frameworks, business processes, business requirements and UAT methodologies
- Ability to critically evaluate information gathered across multiple sources, reconcile variances, and recommend proposals to clients
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Participate in development and delivery of implementation of standard processes
- Assist in monitoring the effectiveness and compliance of the processes via dashboards, KPIs, surveys and audit reports
- Deliver continuous improvement of the culture and processes
- Assist in change impact analysis
- Analyse, cleanse and visualise data to identify trends and make decisions considering business requirements against the current processes and assisting in the development and / or implementation of requirements utilising analysis techniques
- Facilitating workshops to achieve focused outcomes and joint understanding of user needs
- Formally documenting functions and processes using Microsoft Office tools (including Visio) and/or Google suite
- Supporting the production of Management Information and presenting this back
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by creating test cases and acceptance criteria, and supporting issue management
- Create and maintain documentation, as well as support controls and quality assurance for key stakeholders and suppliers
