Bouygues Energies & Services are seeking to appoint a Mechanical Design Degree Apprentice to be based in Manchester.

**The Role**

As a Mechanical Design Degree Apprentice, you will be required to undertake a variety of tasks ranging from assisting engineers, undertaking calculations, develop innovative technical solutions and coordinating detailed drawings, interlinking with a multi-disciplinary business. You will also play a pivotal role within the design team in producing design-based documentation, ensuring our projects meet the highest standards. The on job learning will assist in your personal development to become a qualified engineer.

Working alongside an experienced team the key task you will be involved in are:

- Assisting senior engineers in the design of mechanical building services systems
- Liaising with in house multi-discipline departments for coordination
- Undertaking calculations
- Use of Hevacomp software
- Taking ownership and responsibility
- Keep up with current standards and technologies
- Be aware of health and safety requirements in all aspects of the role

The apprenticeship will include a study day at Liverpool John Moores University
The following qualifications will be attained through this apprenticeship
- BEng (Hons) Building Services Engineering Degree Level 6

**What you will need**:

- 112 UCAS points e.g. A Levels, minimum Two A2 levels (including Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Biology) or, BTECs, NVQ’s
- Good problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
