**Ortus Recruitment** are excited to present the opportunity for a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join the **Early Years** team at a lovely, mainstream Primary School.

The school is situated in the **London Borough of Brent** - a dynamic and multicultural area with an abundance of shops, restaurants, cafes as well as multiple transportation links to enable easy accessibility from door to door.

**EYFS Teaching Assistant role**:

- Take initiative, be confident and proactive
- Work alongside class teacher to manage classroom behaviour, keep classroom organised and liaise with parents/carers
- Support children with additional needs on a 1:1 basis
- Lead numeracy, phonics and literacy interventions in small groups to raise low attainment levels and reach set targets
- Engage pupils with the EYFS curriculum

**Main Expectations**:

- 3+ months experience supporting children in a classroom environment (desirable)
- Strong numeracy/literacy skills
- Knowledge of the curriculum (desirable)

**Salary**: £75.00-£90.00 per day

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dollis Hill: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- EYFS: 1 year (preferred)
