Finance Support Officer

In the Finance Support Officer job you will be:
- Responsible for checking and processing all creditor invoices, raising official orders and processing payments
- Generating orders using accounting software, ensuring accuracy of usage of expenditure codes, and maintenance of the systems
- Printing, obtaining and filing official orders on a daily basis
- Monitoring year end creditor accruals and ensuring all orders/invoices listed are paid accordingly
- Collating data from invoices for analytical and performance monitoring purposes
- Reconciling all grant expenditure to the general ledger and also all incoming cash on a daily basis
To be considered for the Finance Support Officer job you must have:
- Previous accounts administration experience
- Relevant accounting qualification (AAT level or similar)
- Office / Finance Administration experience working within an office environment
- The ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, work unsupervised
- Good communication skills including both written and verbal
This is a full time (37 hours per week, Monday to Friday) vacancy for a temporary period of initially 12 weeks. The hourly pay rate is £10.42 plus paid holidays and you will be based in Mochdre and Colwyn Bay.
