_**Delta Care Ltd is a CQC-registered provider of Care and Support services to individuals within Preston, Chorley, Blackburn, Southport, Blackpool, Macclesfield, and Trafford. We also have a Residential Care Home in Brierfield, Nelson, Nursing Home in Rivington**_,_**and a Well-being Day Care Centre in Preston.**_

We are currently looking for a Finance Assistant to join our friendly finance team based in the Delta Care Ltd Head Office. You will be dealing with our 10 branches invoices, employee wages, any concerns related to finance and working along side the finance manager.
- **The hours of work are Monday - Friday: 9AM to 4PM.**

Finance experience is not necessary as full training and shadowing is provided for the position, but we also welcome applicants with relevant experience.

**What we ask**:

- Relevant Accounts experience _(desirable but not essential)_
- Experience of IRIS Payroll & Xero _(desirable but not essential)_
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritise own workload/input data accurately
- Takes personal responsibility to resolve queries and issues
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication Skills.

**Duties of the role**:

- Generating invoices from care software and sending them to relevant private and local authority clients
- Posting the invoices on to book keeping software (Xero)
- Dealing with invoice queries
- Assist in preparing weekly banking reports
- Taking the payments by phone
- Posting the payments to invoices on book keeping software
- Chasing the outstanding invoices and dealing with client queries
- Processing the wages by preparing the wages spreadsheets, calculating holiday pay, any wages adjustment and calculating statutory payments
- Inputting all the spreadsheet information onto payroll software (IRIS Payroll Professional) and generating reports
- Dealing with staff wage queries
- Keep and maintain holidays record for care staff and preparing holiday adjustments for relevant periods
- Assisting finance manager whenever required with any other ad hoc duties
