**Position Summary**:
To plan, control and monitor the purchase, intake and distribution of merchandise in order to maximise sales and profit within the Watch Department.

This role will have a strong emphasis on monitoring watch sale registrations, aligning Brand records and managing core stocks. There will be the need to be involved in Watch Brand meetings including travel, viewing latest releases, and developing ranges for the company along with the Watch Manager/Buyer.

As part of our Commercial Department, commercial experience is desirable, to assist in developing further the success of our Watch business.

**Core Accountabilities**
- Working with buying/stock reports to ensure effective and efficient watch buying across the business.
- With the use of analytical and excel skills provide key insights into the Brands performances.
- Identifying stock gaps and maintain/update core ranges for each brand. This will include placing of orders and qualification of received orders.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with selected Brands, whilst supporting the Buyer on overall Brand relationships.
- Attend all stipulated buying meetings - travelling as required.
- In-depth knowledge of all Brand portals.
- Monitoring watch sales registrations, reporting discrepancies to the Watch Manager/Buyer and shop managers.

**Specific Responsibilities**
- Brand/Supplier stock reconciliation.
- Communicate new products to Marketing and Sales teams.
- Work with the HR & Training Manager to assist in required training on all brands.
- Feed into internal communications (such as Shine/Watch Bulletin).
- Core stock replenishment and/or rebalance daily, weekly, monthly as required.
- Ensure on time delivery from suppliers.
- Identify supply difficulties dealing with problems or delays as they arise.
- Identify and react to sales trends (weekly/monthly) to expand the potential of best sellers. Rebalance stocks between stores where necessary.
- Insuring Watch Brand stock KPI’s are achieved.
- Day to day reporting to the Watch Buyer/Manager

- Lunn’s Induction Programme.
- Introduction to Lunn’s reports, brand and supplier portals to assist with stock holding, reconciliation and buying.
- Lunn’s internal stock system (Encore).
- Margins, profitability, and stock turn.
- Market awareness/trends.
