**The opportunity**

To provide a high quality business support service, managing patient services, through effective line management of a team of support staff. As our Patient Services Team Leader you will:

- Provide day to day supervision for a team of business support staff including Work scheduling / rotas, recruitment, induction, performance excellence reviews, for Inpatient Bookings, NHS Team, Medical Records.
- Be responsible for delivering all NHS reports on time, and managing our data quality to a high standard to help deliver the best possible patient experience and service to the NHS.
- Able to lead Hospital Capacity and Planning meetings to help deliver excellent theatre capacity to allow us to maximize our potential to serve more beneficiaries.
- Be responsible for all workflow and activity for Inpatient Bookings, NHS Team and Medical Records, to meet hospital expectations.
- Be able to coach, develop and mentor all team members to achieve high standards and work to the best of their ability.

To succeed as a **Patient Services Team leader,** you will need:

- To have the ability to develop a positive and healthy culture, championing staff wellbeing.
- Ability to deliver Training, Coaching and Mentoring.
- Proven ability in meeting deadlines and delivering KPI's on time and with no surprises.
- Good understanding of NHS reports and NHS Contract requirements.
- Proven ability in data management, including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Excel.
