Required for busy and forward thinking GP practice:
Experienced Senior Receptionist
40 Hours per week
Monday to Friday between 9am - 6pm
Previous experience in a similar role is essential - minimum 2 years
Job Summary:
To work closely with the Practice & Finance Manager, to provide a timely and responsive service for the implementation and maintenance of administrative and patient services.
Provide leadership and management skills to enable the practice to meet its agreed aims and objectives within a profitable, efficient, safe and effective working environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring staff achieve their primary responsibilities
Combine the skill mix of the non-clinical staff, ensuring that sufficient trained staff are in place to undertake all non-clinical tasks on a daily basis
Overseeing the administrative elements of QOF, liasing with all staff
Developing, implementing and embedding an effective practice and staff development plan, including mandatory training programmes
Evaluating, organising and overseeing the staff induction programme - ensure new staff set up on the various IT systems/smartcards issued etc
Discuss Flu Vaccine Campaign yearly with PM, Practice Nursing and admin teams, plan and implement clinics, delivery schedule, audit and review
Oversee the completion of monthly and quarterly reporting for CCG and NSHE
To provide support and training for current and new staff ensuring that data quality guidelines are understood and adhered to
Complete mandatory training and to have read and understood mandatory practice policies

**Salary**: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
