Are you an enthusiastic and driven professional with experience in the insurance industry?

Our client is a well-established Independent Insurance Broker looking to recruit a skilled Account Handler to join their new Northern based office in Leeds. As an Insurance Account Handler you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to clients, supporting and servicing new and existing clients and managing all of their insurance needs.

This is a varied role and responsibilities will include:

- Sales - Actively engage with prospective clients to identify their insurance requirements and provide appropriate solutions. Generate new business opportunities through networking and lead generation activities.
- Renewals - Pro-actively manage the renewal process for existing clients ensuring timely communication and negotiation of terms. Provide expert advise on policy options, coverage and pricing to retain and grow client relationships.
- Adjustments - Handle client requests for policy adjustments, endorsements and modifications ensuring accurate and timely updates to policies and provide guidance and support to clients in navigating the adjustment process.
- Administration - Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation. Process policy documentation, endorsements and other relevant paperwork efficiently. Utilise insurance software systems to manage client information and transactions.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar Account Handler role within the Motor or Commercial Insurance industry is essential.
- Proven track record in Sales and business development with a focus on achieving targets and revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term client relationships.
- Detail orientated with exceptional organisational and time management.
- Proficient in using insurance software systems and MS office suite.
