Medical Receptionist

We are a committed and enthusiastic training practice of 8800+ patients situated in Newarthill, Lanarkshire. We are looking for a new person to join our team, specifically to work full time in our reception area, answering phones, generating prescriptions and several other administration tasks specific to general practice such as workflow of mail, booking appointments etc. There will need to be some flexibility of hours to cover practice core hours with a possible start time of 715am or finish of 615pm, Monday to Friday.

We would love to have someone with experience, particularly of general practice and Vision, however this is not critical as we would rather have a kind, motivated and helpful individual who fits with our team and we will provide on the job training.

It would be essential that an applicant has some pre-existing IT skills and a good standard of education with Nat5/Standard Grade English and Mathematics preferred and with excellent communication skills.
